Plain English. We built MOTE to be fair to merchants. These terms reflect that.

By registering on MOTE, you agree to these terms. MOTE is operated by Hoshi Sora LLC, a Washington State limited liability company.
MOTE gives your business a permanent on-chain identity (DID) and submits machine-readable listings to AI agent registries. The $10 registration fee covers:
Your Decentralised Identifier (DID) is permanently yours. MOTE cannot revoke it. No company can. It is anchored on a public blockchain and cryptographically tied to a key pair you can export from your dashboard. Even if MOTE ceases to operate, your DID and its on-chain record remain.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your business information. By submitting your business details, you confirm that you have the right to list this business and that the information is accurate.
Your listing data is made publicly available as machine-readable files. This is the service you are paying for. By registering, you consent to your business name, category, description, location, and other profile details being publicly accessible.
The $10 registration fee is a one-time payment processed by Stripe. It is non-refundable. Because your DID is created on the blockchain immediately upon payment and cannot be undone, we are generally unable to offer refunds.
If you believe you have been charged in error or have a genuine dispute, contact us at support@mote.network and we will review your case. Refunds are at our sole discretion.
MOTE is open to any legitimate business. You may not use MOTE to list a business that is fraudulent, non-existent, or designed to deceive AI agents or their users.
MOTE may remove your listing from the MOTE directory if we determine you have violated these terms. Removal from the directory does not affect your DID — your on-chain identity is permanent and unaffected by any action MOTE takes.
You may request deletion of your account and profile data at any time by contacting support@mote.network.
MOTE provides discoverability infrastructure. We do not guarantee that any specific AI agent, platform, or user will find or transact with your business. We do not guarantee any level of traffic, leads, or revenue as a result of registration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoshi Sora LLC's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service ($10).
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify registered merchants by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
